Working on wiring - so far the least exciting part of the build! At this point I have the LS3 wiring just laid out so that it reaches all the sensors, nothing is connected or mounted. I have enough length in the main trunk of the harness to possibly mount the ECU and box under the bench seat, I probably would need to raise the seat a little more than what the included seat risers would provide, about another 2 inches should do it I think. What are your thoughts about this location?

You will need some sort of air to keep ECU cool.If it is in a sealed area the heat from the floor could cause problems. I mounted my LS3 stuff inside and outside firewall.
See post #28 and 30. The 33 is the same from firewall forward.

Do you really think it could get too hot under the seat for the ECU? They live in the engine compartment on a factory built car, I sure hope that the inside of my cab is cooler than under the hood of a car!!

They may be fine there. I do know that with the mufflers under the floor the floor gets really hot.

I mounted all my ECUs behind the dash against the FW, up high.
Put the LS relay/fuse box under the AC unit.

Thanks, do you have any pictures of this in your build thread?

This is before completion. I have more modules mounted to the left of these too.
And you can see the LS fuse/relay box below the Evaporator.
