Hey everyone. I'm looking for thoughts on headlights. I did watch the video of Headlight Revolution comparing all the 7" rounds. I do like the JW Speaker 8700, but they look a bit to modern in my opinion. I feel they overpower the look of the cobra if that makes sense. What would be some more high quality LEDs that don't look super modern? The new OEM Jeep wrangle look pretty cool, but would that look decent on a cobra? Also the Vision X Vortex look to be a bit more sublet in design. Also in the video review the cheap Chinese knockoffs of the reflected LEDs looked really good to me but low light quality. When you respond could you send a picture of the headlights you recommend on a cobra so I can see the look? I do want to lean into having a black body headlight since I'm going with a chrome delete look.

Are you going for an all around modern look or more vintage style? If your going for a more modern look like what Backdraft does with their styling then I say go for the modern ones. If most of your build will be vintage then I say go with the classic style. What is the inspiration you are using for your build?

I have used these on two builds. Not a Cobra though so I can't say if they fit. I like them alot.

I'm looking at these... at $269 they're pricey, but the reviews are fantastic! and still have a psuedo classic look.

IMHO you don't want to be out on a dark night and can't see well and think 'dang, I wish I would have upgraded from 1965 lighting' :rolleyes:

Not relevant concerning the look that you may want, but I have had the JW Speakers on a wrangler and currently have the Mopars in my wifes wrangler. The JW's are a tick brighter, but the Mopar work very well. I think the JW's provided peripheral lighting better. I think the JW's are little less expensive than the Mopars
