Hello everyone,
I have been wanting to build a FFR Roadster since I retired from the USAF in 2008. I was a member of ffcars before it was ffcars but life and a sickness got in the way. I am having a house built with a detached shop that should be finished at the end of this year. I am planning purchasing a full MkIV kit as soon as we get settled and unpacked.
The planned build:
Coyote
4R70W
IRS
Electric A/C
Flip Front
Looking forward to finally getting this thing started. Does anyone know how to get in touch with some of the guys who have built the flip fronts? I know there is a guy in Scottsdale (Kevin Beamon) who documented his build pretty extensively according to an article he wrote but I can't find him on any of the forums. There are a couple of other guys in TX (King and I can't remember the second one) but I don't think they are active on any of the forums for a couple of years.
Thanks for the add. I have done a ton of research and have a really good idea of pretty much what I want but will have a bunch of questions about sourcing and how to make it happen.
