I have read the instructions and the searched but haven't found my answer. I am mounting the overflow tank and the mounting hardware isn't deep enough to mount to the F panel and mounting it to the 3/4 frame is to high and the top of overflow probably would interfere with the body and instructions don't specify.

How are you guys mounting this? I found a random plate in the box which would allow me mount to the frame and attach the tank mount but verifying this is the intentions of the plate.

I just used some spacers between the mount and the F panel. Haven’t had any problems

Do you have a picture of another view, i like that tank and it looks to be more volume

I had the same concern, but the tank mounts just fine to the F panel. Place it so the cap will just clear the square tube.

Here you go. It's a Moroso expansion/recovery tank I got from someone who wasn't going to use it. If it were not for a great deal I would run a typical Moroso expansion tank because I like the way they look and there's more volume than stock. I have this one plumbed as a recovery tank at the moment, but that might change in the future. Also, I'm running Evans Coolant instead of a water/coolant mixture so there is little expansion and less likely to need that large of a tank. I also like the way it "tucks" into that area.132802

I’m facing the same issue as you, I know your post is nearly 5 years old but I can’t find anything on this issue. What did you end up doing, do you have any pics? I too got the one piece of square sheet metal and assuming it’s for what you said. Curious what route you took? Thanks?

I ditched the FFR-supplied tank, as it was too small for my 427, and bought this Canton.

I used the supplied mounting brackets plus fabbed a couple spacers behind them. Secured the tank to the F panel on passenger's side.
