Sidepipe clearence

Hey all
How much clearence should I have between the Side pipes and the fiberglass both where itcomes out of the engine and along the side. I'm concerned about heat

1/4 inch or more. Most of the tight fit is at the front & back.

Yes, a 1/4" is more than enough.

But even with poly mounts there is movement, especially on the left side.
