Should I sell my unfinished Type 65 and get this instead?

Have a nice weekend!

Looks interesting. I wish F5 had done a GT40 instead of the GTM.

I say go for it!!!!

What might it cost you to add this beast to your collection? Somewhere north of $7,560,000, we’d estimate. (The car’s consignors have chosen not to reveal an asking price or estimate.) The last time a GT40 prototype was offered at public auction was back in 2014 (https://www.mecum.com/lots/HA0414-184930/1964-ford-gt40-prototype/), when GT/104 crossed Mecum’s block and notched a final price of $7.56M. “Based on that sale, it’s reasonable to expect that it will take in excess of that figure to add GT/105 to your collection,” says Greg Ingold (https://www.hagerty.com/media/author/gregory-ingold/), assistant editor of the Hagerty Price Guide.

You joke, but an RCR40 is next on my list.

And there is this bargain right now that given better timing I'd be looking at seriously.. crazy cheap https://www.gt40s.com/threads/active-power-cars-gt40-project.54351/#post-552489

Hell, not looking at.. I'd be in my truck with my trailer, driving there.

I've definitely had my eye on an RCR40 as a future project for a while.
