Fifteen hundred square feet of heated hibernation shop is mine for the next seven months. I just rented a huge hangar at the local airport. It's about 10 minutes from home and has enough room for my brother and a friend to leave a few things, too (like the boat and Ford T-Bird under the cover. I'm moving the Roadster body on the buck there later today and the rest will go in the coming weeks. The neighbors are pretty cool, too, including the guy with the Hellcat WWII navy fighter next door - what a sound when he fired it up this morning to go around the patch.

Oh well, just when you thought you had seen it all. Move some heavy equipment in and you can start your own TV show. You could call it "Muscle Car". Nope that's already taken. You'll think of something. No space problems!!! WEK.

Nice space! Reminds me of that motor complex in MN HIRISC has.

It's a small local airport with a section of about 150 hangars that are part of a "condo association." It's a gated section of the airport, though, with key code access only. There are no restrictions on them regarding aircraft use only, so lots of guys buy these as "toy boxes" for other hobbies. One of the best parts is the pilot lounge with a complete bathroom (including shower) that is just steps away from my unit. I went in with my brother and a friend (who now owns my former Bondurant track-car) and we're splitting the rent to make it affordable - $150 each per month until the end of April. I ought to be able to get quite a bit done here over the winter!
