Having to change the foot panel for the Coyote install and new pedal box left the carpet destroyed. The original builder used way too much glue and the carpet was destroyed removing it. Of course the Transmission tunnel had to be removed as well- that is visible. My question is does the FFR MK3 carpet come fitted? With all of the angles to the trans tunnel and around that is going to be a lot of cutting if the carpet is not made to lie just on top. I have tried to find a pro to do this but there are very few in my area. The ones that do this are booked out 4-5 months. I can't let this look like this for that long so it's gonna have to be me. -And I'm no carpet guy by any means. Also any advice on heat shield? I saw Breeze automotive has some interesting stuff.

I doubt the original builder used too much glue. The only way to not destroy that carpet basically is to not glue it in. Which really isn't an option. Due to the nature of the backing and cut pile, any amount of adhesive will pull the pile out when removed. I don't know whether you can buy Mk3 pre-fit carpet or not. But likely a moot point. Since you've changed the footbox, very unlikely the original design carpet would fit properly. Factory Five sells the carpet material by the yard. Really, would be a very easy project to make a pattern out of kraft paper or whatever to confirm the fit and cut and glue in a new piece.
