After lurking for the past 7 or 8 months I figured it is time to finally join the forum. I'm (hopefully) getting close to narrowing things down, but I'm pretty financially cautious so I'm not making any major financial decisions in the middle of the pandemic.
I started with pretty low car knowledge, but after reading a lot and googling a lot I'm getting closer. From what I can tell there are a good amount of FF cars in the Midwest (I'm in Indiana), so I'm hoping to see some in person as well as attend the build school either late this year or early next year to finalize my details. Doing it all in my 20s on a teacher salary will take a bit more saving up (and patience from the wife), but hopefully I can build a roadster to last a couple of decades.
Thanks for all the time you've all put in on this forum, worst case scenario I never get one built - but I have learned a HUGE amount about cars from other forum members' posts.
