FFR ppolished SS side pipes.

Just turning 7500 miles on my Mk4 and today while sitting at a light, the PS side pipe began to rattle at idle. Nothing loose, but suspect it is internal to the pipe. Common occurence?

Hmmm, I thought it was an intelligent question or I am the only one to ever experience this. Any thoughts?

This used to be a problem on older steel side pipes, but haven't heard of it on the stainless ones.
We used to drill a small hole on the offending side and use a sheet metal screw to secure the loos pipe inside.

I had the insert pop loose on my passenger side a couple times on my old car. A very talented welder finally tacked welded it enough that it never moved again, or discolored the pipe. I just couldn't bring myself to drive a sheet metal screw through the side of the pipe.
