I forget who originally posted but he used 1 to fab a dead pedal for his left foot to rest on. I copied his Idea. I used rivnuts to secure it.

I saw this idea, likely from one of your threads, and am going to copy it. How much in front of your clutch pedal do you have the dead pedal? I was also going to put some holes and grommets in the pedal for antislip unless others think that's a bad idea.

Ha, ok I've heard the name Jeff Kleiner before and its generally associated with some sort of "method". If it's appropriate can you fill me in on who he is? Seems he's well know but I'm kinda new here.
Thanks,
Tim
Oh, I see he has replied to another of my posts. He has an awesome build Blue car immaculate engine bay.

Make a paper towel rack with the brackets and install the hood pins on your wife's car to show her how much you care.....then hide....for a month.

Darn, I thought you were supposed to cut them up and use them to support the lower part of the radiator.
30 seconds into this video you'll see how I used them:

When you are given lemons, make lemon marang icebox pie if you are from New Orleans or a nice spiked lemonade will work too.

Wait, wait, now you have me confused Miller....I thought those fancy billet door hinges were for paper towels and the hood pin brackets were to make toilet paper holders. Maybe I got that backwards :confused::confused:

Sorry, not his car. I doubt he'd beat the snot out of it on the autocross track if it was.

The footbox panel isn't on the car now but I'd say the "dead pedal" is about 1" infront of the clutch pedal. That is a good idea with the grommets.

It's a customer car, not mine. I did the body, paint and final assembly. It belongs to DANW in Minnesota and is a great car!

F5 must have a warehouse full of them because this question keeps coming up. There should be a contest for most creative reuse of a part. Not to fork the thread. :p
