Hey guys, I am wanting to go with a serpentine setup (Chrome) with my 302 and need a Alternator as well. No A/C, No P/S. Belt weill drive just alternator, water pump and of course main pulley. Any kit PN's would be appreciated. Also anything to be aware of would be welcomed. All feedback is a gift. Thanks in advance.

CVF has a nice kit https://www.cvfracing.com/ford-289-302-351w-serpentine-conversion-kit-alternator-only/

If you want to spend more, try the concept one kit https://www.c1pulleys.com/collections/ford-small-block-pulley-systems/products/ford-small-block-kit-with-alternator

Speed Doctor Racing Components makes a really nice alternator bracket, if you like a low-mount passenger side setup. You'll want to make sure your water pump direction matches how you mount the alternator. I don't recall the price, but do recall I was very happy with what I paid. I think the only way to contact them is to get the email through their facebook page.

one concern is the type of water pump. There is a short and long pump shaft. you might need to know what you have. March Performance (Naples Fl) has a bunch of solutions. I liked them because they are polished Alum, and clear powder coated.

Like the car in the background! My Dad bought an SJ with the 428. A real sleeper/ cruiser!

Thanks; it's a 1970 Model J with a 400/TH400 drivetrain and maybe 72k miles. It's my dad's car. Funny thing is, 9 out of 10 people who drive by the shop and stop in want to check out the Grand Prix; they glance at the Type 65 for half a second. If you're in the neighborhood some evening, I'm at 812 Industry, 15210, across from the Alla Famiglia parking lot.
