Hi everyone! I'm excited to be joining the forum as reading many of the build threads on here has completed my research phase of a Coupe build I'm planning for later this year. If you consider ironing out logistics part of the build process then technically it will begin next month!! I've been a jeep guy all of my adult life and still have my 97 jeep since it was new 23 years ago. I've always wanted a sports car and when I saw an episode of some power nation show highlighting FFR I checked it out and it was love at first sight with the Type 65:D. I look forward to the build and hopefully I won't have to rely on the forum too much, but from what I've read it will be a great community for support.
Cheers,
Patrick

I highly recommend that you read Paul B's Type 65 Coupe build thread (https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?26630-Edwardb%92s-Gen-3-Type-65-Coyote-Coupe-59-Build-Complete-and-Graduated) - in detail, taking notes and following closely. I'm building a '33 Hot Rod, but I still found many valuable tips and data. Generally, you can't go wrong with anything he posts. It's also worth reviewing his Roadster build threads for more knowledge and insights.

Keith,
Thanks for the recommendation and I think I'm already on the same page! Paul's build thread is what really rounded out all of my research. I loved a lot of the things he did and it gave me a ton of ideas. I took notes, but I'm sure I'll have to read the thread again at least two more times. Plus it was fun to read too! I plan to do a build thread, but I'm not sure if I'll be able have anywhere near the quality of what Paul wrote. Can't wait until I have a kit number to start posting about!
