Does anyone have any input on these lights? Can I just buy them from Breeze and install or do I need some sort of mounting? https://www.breezeautomotive.com/shop/led-exterior-lighting-kit/

Buy 'em, install 'em and drive it like you stole it.

Uses the same bucket as the stock FFR lamps.

X2. Both the headlights and the 1157 bulbs go into the stock kit locations and use the existing wiring. Just swap to the solid state flashers provided and you're good to go. I believe that is the Watson's Streetworks setup. Which I have in my #8674 build and like very much.

I bought the headlights and installed them using a Hella lens and the stock FFR buckets. I believe the Hella lenses are exactly the same as those included in the kit you sent in the link. These are awesome head lights. I started with the stock set up. Terrible! I converted to the Hella lenses with hb4 bulbs. Better but not great. Replaced the bulbs with these LEDs and the difference is amazing. Much greater range. Not only are they brighter but the peripheral lighting is significantly improved. Highly recommend them. I cannot speak to the running lights and turn signals. I kept those stock.

I upgraded to breezes setup over the winter and they’ve been awesome so far this driving season. Very very easy install into the stock ffr harness and buckets. Some will say you can part it out and buy it yourself for cheaper which may be true, but mark makes it incredibly easy so worth it I think.

I bought the complete kit from Mark. The kit has everything you need and now, except for my license plate light, everything is LED. The difference in brightness over FFR supplied lights is amazing. Buying from Mark at Breeze makes it an easy swap to LED.

Mark, I got my LED license plate lamps here. Work great.

Rectangular tail lights are LED.

ah ok - so those LEDs would not be needed in that case

I would encourage you to read either my post or, better yet, google Daniel Stern and heed his advice on LED headlamps. Generally speaking adding LED bulbs into a headlamp reflector/housing not designed for an LED light source is NOT DOT approved. There are tons of these out there and the Hella and other halogen enclosures/reflectors are quite good - but only when used with halogen bulbs. The appearance from the driver's seat of "better" lighting isn't necessarily an accurate or scientific appraisal and generally does not take into account an oncoming driver's perspective.

I have the JH Speaker headlamps for my roadster but haven't installed them yet so I can't tell you how they will fit. If you want better lighting without what may be a custom install then IMO I would use a good halogen enclosure and a good halogen bulb (again see Stern). What you will have to do is make sure that your harness and charging system can handle the amperage for halogens: generally around 7 amps at high beam per headlamp. I like Breeze and have used several of their parts and kits but you really should verify that his solution is DOT approved. I have installed good halogen headlamps in 2 classic vehicles and they make a big difference.

The breeze lights come with 12 diodes. Has anyone had to actually use the diodes to get the lights to work properly?

When I put my order in last week they told me all the factory five lights are led now. Are they just crappy led, or have they recently changed?

Tooth, did FFR specifically state that the headlights were now DoT approved LED? Or, was the FFR rep simply referring to the taillights and front marker/turn lights?

I have a question regarding Breeze LED headlights. When driving in the dark, I can see that there's something like a reflection from headlights in front of the car, but high in the trees — while I'm in low beams. I can see proper low beam light in the front of the car, but this reflection is bothering me.
is this just me with such an issue? any suggestions on how to mitigate it?

He said all the lights, and mentioned how bright the headlights where because of the led's.
