I have a roadster in South Australia. I bought it through Component Cars, who were an agent for Factory Five at the time. However there have been plenty of others who have bought the cars in to the country directly. Couldn't imagine it it is much of a proposition at the moment with the current exchange rate.

Hey Jason, I bought in a 33 Hot Rod late 2018. I replied to a thread in the Australian forum a little while back with some costings:

Which state are you in? - this will dictate how challenging the registration process will be. I'm in Vic and initially I was thinking I'd have to get full rego using the ICV scheme, but my engineer is confindent I can register it on the Streeet Rod plate scheme - I spoke to the street rod federation early days and they disagreed stating the chassis is not based on an original chassis of the era and therefore would not be allowed. Time will tell.....I'm still at least 12 months off finishing it.
