Guys,
Need help. I need to see if anyone has the wiring schematic to hookup the Ford Q wire to the alternator. The Q doesn't plug into the alternator. Must be a wiring sheet that we do not have yet.
Thank you,
Zach

Not sure what gen Coyote you're wiring, but for my 2nd gen coy the PCM is not connected to the alt as I'm running a simple single wire configuration.
The 2nd gen alt connector on the PCM, before I trimmed it out of the mix, looked like the yellow plug you have in your picture though and it is labeled as C102A. I'm not sure what the teal one is from as I did not have that in my Ford Racing Controls Pack.
C102A has a pinout as follows and all but the HAAT pin go to the PCM's C175B connector.
Pin1 - Violet - Alt Load Input
Pin2 - Blue - Alt Regulator Control
Pin3 - Red - Hot at all times / HAAT

Hey, i also run a 1-wire racing alternator, but when the radiator fan comes on, it seems that my alternator gets to work a lot. The idle goes all the way down and volt gauge. Almost un-driveable. What do you think is going on or needs to be done?

The ECU would typically regulate the voltage output via a battery temperature table. Since we don't run a battery temperature sensor, it probably just goes to "max" voltage. Unplugging it will make it default to a "safe" 13.x volts. Poking around in HP Tuners, it looks like you could override the values in the table and set it to whatever voltage you wanted it to output and leave it plugged in. I don't even know why Ford Performance even included the connection for the alternator since we don't have a battery temp sensor input to the ECU...
