Issue to access the forum with Verizon Fios

Anybody experienced issues accessing the forum when on Fios Verizon?

I had some luck when connecting my computer to my other Verizon cellular hotspot (but still patchy) and have NO issue when connecting through a VPN.
I cannot even ping the forum, sometimes the DNS resolution works and pings time out, sometimes you don't even get DNS resolution.
Tried with 2 computers, same issue. Tried at work (Verizon as well), the same issue.

So it seems to be a Verizon issue to me...

I agree, it sounds like it's Verizon. You aren't the first to complain about Verizon's DNS servers either. I have never used the FIOS service but I would first suggest changing the DNS servers if possible to something other than Verizon's. Using a manual entry I use Cloudflare's servers (primary 1.1.1.1, secondary 1.0.0.1) on my router. Cloudflare DNS seems to be pretty fast but there are other public DNS servers you can use too. You could even mix and match. That way if the primary DNS from one provider has problems the secondary server from another provider is still available. HTH

It seems this is not a DNS issue, even when I try to ping the forum site's IP, I cannot reach it.
This is nuts... I really don't get it.... and pretty sure I would waste my time with Verizon's support...

Sounds like firewall rules to me. Perhaps Dave can check the filters to see if they are blocking the IP addresses that Verizon uses.
