Hello everyone, I am a writer for Mecum Auctions (currently on hiatus after the flu shutdown) and a lifelong enthusiast of all things automotive. I joined the FFR forum to educate myself about the various kits and am looking to either build or purchase my own, so my attitude is simply "watch and learn." I presently own a 2002 Corvette Z06 and a 2003 Porsche Boxster S, but the Cobra in its various forms has been my favorite for as long as I can remember (tied with the GT40 Mk II). Happy to be a new member and looking forward to getting acquainted with fellow FFR enthusiasts.

Welcome Kane, I'm just a few minutes away in North Vancouver.
There's a few 33s around and some Cobras too. A buddy of mine built a Cobra some time ago and it's still looking gorgeous

Have another friend on Bowen that is looking to build a Daytona in a year or so.
Enjoy!

Hi Steve, thanks for reaching out to welcome this FFR newbie! After returning from a summer holiday with the family I've spent the last couple of days reading the famed Papa's build thread and jumping back and forth to others, and I have to say this forum looks like a very welcoming place; it certainly is educational as well. Thanks too for the link to Dean Collins' FFR Cobra, which looks amazing.
Best regards
Kane
