Heater control valve hose routing

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but the AC/heater install manual shows (on page 50) the hoses routed backwards from what the Thermotion web site indicates. Wouldn't that cause full heat when you want no heat and no heat when you want full heat?

I bought below, it is same part cheaper, my current installation on GTM works find but bought this as backup, it will work but you will need a bidirectional control for the valve so you current single will not work, it draws less than 400 ma and have position sense if you need it but my plan was just use for on and off.

Do not know about Hot rod connections, but by just reversing the motor direction then you can change the cold and hot position and from diagram it is not clear which motor direction goes to what position.
