View Full Version : Ideas for securing wire harness on intake manifold

got the motor in finally and running through ideas on how to secure the wires on top the motor. What are some ideas people have seen? Obvious choice is the metal clips that we use and attach it to the bolt in the intake manifold but wanting to see what else there is. Thanks

Your signature line says coyote with Edelbrock supercharger. I thought the Edelbrock supercharger had a big cover for the wiring harness? Any photos of what you are trying to do?

With a carb motor I run what little is necessary from the side, usually just distributor wires. Never made a big deal about securing wires that need to run over the manifold but would encase them in the protective tubing.
EFI will have a bunch more wires.

It looks like you are running a divorced plenum intake.
If this is the case you can run the wires underneath the carb and easily hide the wires.
Shown below is how I hid the wires, but it is easy with the distributor on the back of the engine.
