Trunk Carpet

I have not dug thru all my carpet that I have but was told that trunk carpet does not come with the kit. Also in the book it doesn’t mention trunk carpet either. Does anyone have templates for the carpet or do most guys cut as they go? Just wondering what the best way to go on that is.

Kit did not always come with trunk carpet. Maybe an older package? That said its pretty cheap at most fabric stores. I bought mine locally.

This was not a complete kit and it was originally purchased in 2018.

Mine didn't come with it. Base kit. Bought pre-cut trunk carpet from F5 and is was spot on. Didn't include the trunk sides, though. So I also added some raw carpet to the order.

I bought some carpet that matched the pile of the cockpit carpeting, and measured and cut my own. I only carpeted the floor areas of the trunk so that was easy. I like the look of some aluminum being visible, for the old school race car feel. I fastened the lower floor carpet with strips of Velcro, so it would be easy to remove. Handy for cleaning, but mainly for if I every have to access my fuel tank, (pump, or sender), via the access panels.

Mine (MK3) did not have it either. I bought some and cut out templates. I now know I was not 'cut out' to do this kind of work lol131045131046131047

Mine came with the trunk floor carpet. I went by a local upholsterer shop to get additional material to do the inside trunk side and front walls. Looks very nice to me and was budget friendly.
