I need to adjust the height of my Roadster. What tool do you use to make the adjustment? I bought a set from Jegs but they won't work.

my fronts are adjustable just by hand. my rears are a bit tighter. I stuck a screwdriver in the holes and it was enough to turn the collar. you can get a spanner wrench or a strap wrench as well. I will say that the screwdriver does tend to bend the lip of the hole a bit, so be careful.

This is the one that I've got and it works well; however, I am using a rubber strap wrench to hold the collar.

Hope this helps.

Take the weight off the springs by jacking it up (floor jack, whatever) and turn with your hands. No brainer. Not something you have to do very often once they've settled and you're happy with the setup.

Breeze has what you need, a Williams 0-472 coil over wrench: https://www.breezeautomotive.com/shop/spanner-wrench-for-coil-over-spring-adjustment/

Just bought the one from Speedway. It was $6.99 for the tool. Then with shipping and tax, total was about $16. If it works, that's a pretty good deal. Stand by for a review...

Thank to all for your suggestions and info. I was able to get it done, but there was no way it could be adjusted by hand. Once I got the collar held in place, an Allen wrench attached to a vise grip did the job.

Just to emphasis what Edward posted; with the car jacked up so that suspension is in full droop, spring collars are not in contact with springs (of correct length) and can be easily turned by hand. This should be the case for recommended ride heights (3 3/4-4 1/2).
