I love the classic design of the roadster. It was love at first sight and that love never waived. The glorious lines and design are timeless.

However, I also love modern technology and the comfort and convenience that comes with them. So put my love for the design and my appreciation for modern tech into a blender and out came my build.

I kept most of the edginess of the classic car, but added a bunch of accoutrements.

Here’s what it looks like.

And Oh, now that it’s done I’m selling it just so I can build an even more radical version!

Wow. That's awesome. I would have loved to put that kind of technology in my car. Let's just say, I'm no electrician. Nicely done. Are you going to show us what's under the hood?

Did you have to modify the steering shaft for the MOMO or did you just purchase the wheel and hub separately?

The motor sadly is not that impressive. Its the ford 5.0 HO from a mustang. It was initially supposed to just be a "placeholder" until i bought a brand new engine. Well i ended up actually liking the engine. Faster than my driving skills can handle.

Could do with a clean up.

No modification to steering shaft. Did some minor modification to the hub though to avoid potential tangling of cables. Actually this is the 3rd steering wheel. first one was the standard wheel. Second one looked like a formula1 car wheel with buttons for everything. worked great until i realized steering and wires don't like each other. going to use ethernet for pretty much everything next time.
