Good morning! I saw in a build thread discussion about either the Wilwood electric part brake and the e-stopp system. However, I CAN'T FIND IT AGAIN...

I was hoping someone could chime in about these and give their 2 bits on how easy they are to work with. I think the Wilwood system won't work, according to Wilwood, but I thought I saw someone who talked them up. Anyway, sorry to ask but I wish I could find it again.

I'm leaning to the e-stopp system but wanted to know of any pro's or con's. I just don't want to have the brake arm in the cockpit.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Roger

I did see one on the GT40 forum, but it was just sold at the weekend. Looked sweet

I asked about the Wilwood EPB setup, and it seems it will fit the same mount as the standard brake (MC-4)

Thank you for the inquiry with Wilwood Disc Brakes.
Our EPB calipers have the same mount spacing and can use the same brackets as a kit originally configured for our MC-4 mechanical parking brake calipers.
The big difference is going to be the size of the parking brake calipers themselves. The EPB’s are much longer due to their electric motors. You will need to see if you have space on your specific application to run one of these calipers.

Caliper dimensions can be found on the kits Data Sheet: https://www.wilwood.com/PDF/DataSheets/ds1353.pdf

I've just installed the E-Stopp system on my Factory Five 818. It isn't complete yet, but so far it seems very good. Some info here, post #54:
