Just installed a new engine with an MSD box. It was starting up and running but when i went to start it the other day it was cranking then nothing. No electric at all the light on the msd box does not come on. If i turn the key to the left to turn on the accessories on the fan will come on slightly but make a noise as if its struggling to come on. If i turn it to the right to start the engine nothing happens. Battery is fully charged Any suggestions of where to start diagnosing the problem?

Sure sounds like a dead battery How bright are your lights?
You may have a bad connection at your starter or Starter solenoid

You need to troubleshoot this with a meter. Start in the middle of the electrical system (the solenoid or the key switch) to determine which half is dropping the voltage. You should read 12.0V - 12.4V with one lead on GND and the other on the circuit. We can make guesses at the problem but it will ultimately come down to using a meter (or a test lamp if you don't have a meter) to tell whats going on.

Rechecked all my ground wires and connections and got lucky it must have been one of them. Starts right up now.
