Trying to confirm what year Mustang GT brake kit comes with the FFR complete kit when ordered? Are both front and rear from a 1999-2004 Mustang GT?

Any help appreciated, thanks in advance.

Since nobody else has responded, I can at least confirm that the front brakes on a ~2015 vintage MK4 are from a '99-'04 Mustang GT as I just had to replace mine (both calipers froze up on the first drive...fun). Think I asked for parts for an '00 Mustang GT. Local Napa even had them in stock.

Thanks for the reply, it appears the front brake calipers/rotors are off a 1999-2004 Mustang GT. Still waiting on confirmation for the rear, assuming it would also be the same years too.

You're probably right about the standard front brakes. FF website lists front brakes as Mustang GT 11” front rotors with twin piston PBR aluminum calipers.

But for the rears, with your IRS option, doubt you'll have anything except 2015+ Mustang brakes. The on-line order form lists 2015 Mustang IRS 13” or 2015 Mustang IRS 11.65” rear brakes. That plus of course the Wilwood option which I'm sure you'd know if you have. Since you have to choose what rear brakes you want along with your rear suspension, your order form and inventory list should show what you have. Otherwise a message to FF should get the answers.

Thanks Paul, I actually just got email back from FFR it appears I have the 13" rear brake rotors off a 2015 Mustang. So front and rear are totally different years. I am upgrading pads and going with vented and slotted rotors so now I can start figuring out what I am going to order.

For anyone interested the rear brake calipers are off a 1987-88 Ford Thunderbird

Hmmm...that's unexpected. Are we still talking about the new 2015 Mustang IRS? Or the old Thunderbird IRS? Or perhaps you meant the front brake calipers? Please confirm when you get a chance.

FF's upgraded rear brake package (non wilwoods) are indeed 87-88 Thunderbird calipers.

Apparently there are two different brake packages (not including Wilwood upgrade), my IRS car came with rear 2015 Mustang 13" rotors with 1987-88 Thunderbird calipers. The front caliper and 11" rotors are from a 1999-2004 Mustang GT.

just checked.
there are 2 upgrade non-wilwood options for IRS (13" and 11.65") and one (11.65") for solid axle. at least for my solid axle upgrade, it was the thunderbird calipers and pads.
