need help with speedo wiring

Trying to tidy up under dash, I eliminated a couple of connectors and did not get the speedometer wiring correct

There rear harness speedo connector is plugged into the (TKO600) trans socket - green and grey wires - I have the green going to the speedometer and the grey getting +12 from the grey turn signal source

Everything else seems to be working OK - lights, hazards, turn signals, dash gauges all work; speedo cycles when ignition turned on but no speed indication.

I had issues too, probably self-inflicted. I did a quick pass on diagnosis, then got lazy and sent the gauge to Speedhut for GPS conversion. Kept the original faceplate so nobody knows....

The grey should go to ground not +12V

Thanks Steve, that sounds right, I have never seen so many dedicated ground wires. Be a day or two til I get back to it
