Thanks, George.

I thought it might be the DPDT hazard switch provided by F5. However I did purchase the wiper kit. This might be the switch associated with it. I'll check my wiper kit tomorrow for conformation.

By that wiring diagram ....

Use 4 for hot that switches to 6 and 7 or 7 and 8 ?

Or

Use 1 for hot that switches to 2 and 6 then 6 ?

What are you wiring with it? It looks like you could get off then low beams and low/high with it !

It is probably for the windshield wipers. Off (low/down position) - slow speed (center position) - high speed (upper position). FFR supplies a totally different headlight switch that also controls the dash gauge lights.

Here is the Finish Line Switch for WSW. Hard to tell if it is the exact same one or not.

That is the supplied switch for the wipers. Download the install guide from Factory Five. Wiring diagram on page 12.

The link from GWL in post #2 says, "used for wipers". Is there a reading comprehension issue??? This is the second or third post in which the question has been answered, but people just keep going on an on not knowing what to do, or totally ignore the answer.

Rich,
Comprehension is overrated. Yes, that's the wiper switch but the more important question is whether it still contains the factory installed Lucas smoke.

If the smoke has dissipated some is always available on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/i/264674139403?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&itemid=264674139403&targetid=940197478314&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9010116&poi=&campaignid=9343999134&mkgroupid=101452701304&rlsatarget=pla-940197478314&abcId=1139336&merchantid=6296724&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5LPBqvGL6gIVhbLICh37wA7fEAQYAiAB EgICJvD_BwE

A bit overpriced though.

Wiper switch got separated from wiper kit box during dashboard layout. Lost track of the switch. I'm getting old, memory isn't what it use to be.

Thanks.

That is nothing. After 10 years and three moves I spend more time looking for car stuff and tools than building.....well almost.

You are right, but this is funny, in post #2 it states headlights and the link that says wipers also has an "etc." so ....... could be used for ?????
I think just about any question asked has been answered in the past, and I appreciate when someone states do a search, which is true! (here comes the same old searches don't work well) But I have attempted many searches (not using the forum search) and its iffy at best to find what you are looking for. So If I desire to help answer someones question, I also think the OP probably has their answer but over the next few months the view count may go 600 or 700 or more, so how many may not have all the data that the OP has!

Oh look, I'm waiting on the wife so we can run to town, so you can see I'm bored, typing and typing ....

Also, I have very dry humor, so I very much enjoyed your post, It is spot on as they might say!

Wow I thought this forum was for helping each other not picking on each other! The question was not answered in post #2. It was mostly in post #5 but without the pin configuration. The guy who posted #6 confirmed what it is and gave advise one how to find its wiring diagram....

Post #2 says it is a headlight switch and link says can be used as a wiper switch but does not tell you how.
