Tail of the Dragon

I just ran the Tail of the Dragon (US Hwy 129, N. Carolina/Tennessee border) with my Challenge Car last week. I did the northbound on Thursday and the southbound early on Friday. Very little traffic, perfect weather conditions, though I did have to slow down to let a black bear cross the road! Fun times ... and a few pics to prove that it happened.

He's got a summer job up in N.C. and called me after driving the tail on the way up there on the same day in his Catfish Camaro.
