View Full Version : My Ventilator project
Hi All,
During the initial part for the Convi-19 crisis, I used my modules that I did for GTM for a volunteer project to make a Ventilator from Ambu bag, thought you all may a get a kick out of it and how car part used to do full ventilator with control.

Way to go Mostafa. Partner up and start building the ventilators, reports say they are still in shortage!
As you guys may know, I am/was/is in the most vulnerable category, had heart major surgery few years ago and most recently major prostate surgery, so I could have on the list of forget about this guy VS a 20 year old, so when I had it working relatively good, told my wife I have two ready just in case, just so glad did not need it, was going to do Full FDA test, but for now have put it on hold since the need at least in US is not so bad.
Not clear from video, but this did everything, all you need a pressure sensor ( little red board), flow sensor and Stepper motor, the rest of all the controls in the module including the stepper motor controller/driver. Little magic box!

Mostafa file your patent!

I am nothing special, just work very hard at things and love to come up with new ways to doing things.
Friend did this for our connection at linkedin, not sure if others can see but the exact link may work.

That is truly amazing that you could design and build that in two weeks. The list of things that you have designed at the end of the Linkedin post is also amazing. It's people like you that make this country great. I wish you the best with your health challenges.
