I'm thinking that I should put some common tools into the Truck when I'm driving around. I have an extra set of tools that I kept on my sailboat (anyone want a 31 foot Beneteau?)
But hey, everyone likes to have an opinion on tools so I thought I'd throw this out to everyone and see what you carry or what you suggest I should have. Don't need the proverbial sink here, just
a few notable tools.
So Ideas? What do you carry?
This is one roll that found: 129796
On the street: cell phone, AAA membership card, credit card, and soft straps for the tow truck driver so he doesn't scratch the paint on my chassis. At the track: a race trailer crammed full of every tool and spare part I could imagine I might need at the races.
My kids bought me this one for Christmas:

I was thinking that a spare fan belt might be handy to bring along given how many different front drive set-ups people have. That and any critical/unique/hard to find parts...

I just thought of something else: A copy of the manual/build notes/parts list....essentially the "owners manual" that you created for your ride.

This is what the bed of my truck will look like on its first trip :) Can you guess my confidence in the reliability of my work? First time I ever built a car from the ground up. We will see......

If you have a cable clutch Ken, you should carry a spare cable!
