Guys,
I bought an unfinished/unstarted kit, and the coilover are missing.
I am contemplating buying Breeze Automotive single adjustable coilovers.
My car has IRS and I only plan on street driving. What suggestion/recommendation do you guys have for coilovers?

Thanks
Joel

Joel. I started with Pro Shocks upgraded to the FFR Konis and now have Levy DA Konis. I can tell you that there is a very noticeable difference in suspension control as you go up in quality. That doesn't mean that the more expensive shocks ride any softer, they don't but there aren't any harsher either. You can really tell that the suspension is a lot more planted with the better quality shocks. I would invest in the best shocks that you can afford and I would expect the Breeze shocks to be in the same ball park as the FFR Konis.

Unless you're racing, there's very little advantage to spending the big bux on adjustable shocks. I use non-adjustable Koni's from FFR. They worked with Koni to specfically build a shock for the roadster. I'd say the valving is pretty darned good.

Springs, though, are another matter. I replaced my 750# koni springs for 750# Eibach springs. Surprisingly enough, it improved the ride a noticable amount. Spend the money on a quality spring.

Do you remember the part number for your Eibach springs???

The Eibach part numbers break down pretty simply. AAAA.BBB.CCCC Where AAAA is the length in multiples of tenths of an inch so an 8" spring would be 0800. BBB is the spring inside diameter so 250 is a 2.5" inside diameter spring and CCCC is the spring rate in lbs/in so a 750 lb spring would be 0750. So an 8" long, 2.5" ID, 750lb spring would be 0800.250.0750. Hope that helps.
