E-brake mod - Lokar clevis part # S-8078 no longer available.

I have been looking to do the e-brake mod first developed by EdwardB, but found that Summit (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/lok-s-8078) and others don't have the clevis (part # S-8078) from Lokar anymore. I saw also that people were going directly to Lokar for it, but now they won't sell it either. Does anyone know of an alternative or maybe have one they'd be willing to sell?

I was told specifically that they would not sell me the individual part. This is part of the response I got today:

Did you find an alternative to the Locar Clevis Part S-8078?

I am looking for a solution for my build also

My local Ace Hardware has a couple of bins of Clevis ends. Pick one. Or look through the McMaster site. There's nothing magical about the Lokar part. Or, make one at home; not difficult to do.

When I saw this thread indicating these were no longer available individually outside of buying a kit, I started calling performance shops here in Canada. Lucked out, they didn't have the S-8078, but they did have S-8071. Same piece but package includes another part (just a little more expensive). This is still cheaper than buying the whole brake cable kit. More shops than just the big box guys sell these, you may luck out and find one that just may have one in stock. Ask for either number.

I have one Lok-s-8078, in its 'original' bag. I will sell it for my cost plus shipping which will probably bring it to $35. If you have come up with an alternative let me know and I'll let someone else buy it.
