Visiting FFR this weekend!

I've been working on the east coast for the past 5 weeks and I've decided to visit the birthplace of my roadster. I'm driving up this Friday from NJ to Wareham and will visit the factory this Saturday.

Officially, I won't be bringing a camera, just my phone. ;)

It will be great to see FFR for the first time, although with the amount of pics I've seen over the years I'd bet I could walk around with a blindfold on.

I wonder if they'l let me try on the 818 chassis to see if it is wookie compatible?

Any special requests? I can check up on a car if you have recently ordered, or steal a part if you can't afford it... :p

David... not to try to convince you to do something different, BUT... this Saturday is the 7th annual Covered Bridge tour in NJ. It will be my first one in the roadster, but went a few years ago to take pictures and video. It's a multistop cruise mostly in Bucks County PA through a number of covered bridges and ending up in a bit of a car show. I THINK there are 20 or so cars signed on for this year.

I'm going to take the long way up from NJ and hopefully catch some great fall colors. I'll make sure to post pics of the trip!

It could be 90 this weekend or 35 and we've seen snow in October and in May..
Buy a raincoat..:D

Sorry to have not gotten back to you. I am here tomorrow afternoon and we can cause all kinds of havoc if you want. The Mk4 and Coupe are on their way down to Charlotte by way of Nashville, so we can't play with those, but I'm working Saturday and I think you, as a representative of the Forum should do a live broadcast or post multiple times... How about we do some spy shots of the lingerie department (think nate johnson in a g-string... not right). Seriously, if you want to report to the forum some inside info, we can give you some pre-SEMA stuff to spill.

How about we do an on-line contest and folks can bet how many times i can drive a donut around you as you broadcast live to the forum?

That last idea was for our lawyers who seem to live in the worst-case scenario full time!
