I have looked and looked and can't find the answer to a few questions I have. Maybe some of you guys can help me !!

I am considering using a 2015 and up Mustang GT donor car for the motor, trans, IRS, and anything else I can for a 33 build. I know the motor and trans will work but my question is can I use the entire IRS including brakes axles etc as a whole or do I need to buy the "IRS Kit" from FFR. Also can I use the Mustang front brakes instead of the FFR or Wilwoods.

I don't know if you have seen the leather back seats from a GT but it sure would look slick if you could use those in the 33. They wrap around and look like they might work. Not sure about the height and width though.

And last can anyone provide an opinion on the ride and handling of an IRS vs 3 or 4 link. From what I have read 2015 and up IRS was redesigned and is more stout than previous years. I'm not building a strictly drag race car just a driver.

Thanks

You still need to buy the IRS option from Factory Five. the only parts you will use from the Mustang IRS is the pumpkin, brakes and spindles. The rest is scrap. Not sure you can use the front brakes. I know they are not a direct bolt on. Maybe someone makes adapters. As for the engine and transmission, the engine is a direct fit. The transmission will require some work to get a shifter fitted. I highly doubt a donor would be worth the money unless is was super cheap.

I am 99% sure the seats won't fit the 33. It is very narrow compared to the mustang where the seats mount. The rest is like Mike said.

I’m not going to disagree with wallace, but I will say that measuring the seats would be needed. They aren’t as big as some other seats out there. The problem with using mustang seats will be height. The windshield frame is gonna end up right in your line of sight likely. If you’re 6’+ like me, you’re liable to be looking over the top of it in seats that sit up taller like that.
