Hello, I'm Dave and live in the Sacramento area.

Ready to pull the trigger on a MK 4 complete. They say first of August complete if ordered this week. Then shipping of course.

Being lurking on this board for quite some time and would llike to thank everyone for all the build threads and recommendations I've been
able to absorb. Thank You.

Caught the Cobra bug back in the mid 80's passing, I believe, Classic Motors shop in Fargo ND. Their mainstay was the Healy 3000.
It's finally time and pretty excited.

Being turrning wrenches for quit some time. Had a few shops here in Sac in my younger days.

Just finished a 351w SBF that dynoed 450/450/ just as planned for a nice streetable ride. Local built Motor Machine.
Planning MK4 IRS,TKO600,Quiet pipes,Kens Yuba City paint, for the big parts.

Look forward to hooking up with some local folks for some QandA time.

Thanks
Dave

North West of you out in the country. Do you go to Folsom's cars and coffee? 3rd Sat is typically when the cobra guys try to meet.

Club cobra has a norcal sub group, it is used a few times a year to organize get togethers. A great resource for cruising, but you want to be here for your build!

Dave

I took a totaly different career route; I’ve been a fireman for the last 27 years. My medical just expired but Ive Still been able to fly every once in awhile. Looking to build in RV-8 when I retire.

Im hoping to get a bunch of guys in the Sacramento area to meet up. I started a thread in the general forum section. I’ll get a hold of you when we decide on a date.
