Hey folks.

With Henry Renaud's, (65 Cobra Dude) guidance and major help, I知 going to remove the body for a refresh.
I知 going to add wipers as part of the refresh and I just bought the FF heater kit which still sits in the shipping box because I知 now thinking AC.
Henry and I just installed FF痴 (Rod Tops) premium soft top which now has me thinking AC.
I'm thinking I want to have heat, AC and defrost now.

Can anyone comment on wiper motor placement issues if any with AC?
Who's product did you go with?

I looked at Richard's kit and Whitby's, but Whitby's says "in development".

Thanks!

We have sold hundreds of AC kits (18 years worth) all of them work with wipers but the normal wiper instruction have to go away. Lots of solutions to wipers and AC. Richard.

my wiper motor with Richard's AC is in the top of the drivers footbox - i used a mustang pedal box and whitby power brakes. Motor is bolted to the top of the pedal box with the cable running out the top of the footbox.

Hi Mark, here is how i had to do mine because i couldnt find a new chrome tubing , mine had already been installed prior to me installing Richards a/c unit.129020

Thanks Walt! That's a tight fit. I have a Trico plastic washer bottle with the Trico manual push button and the bottle was going to go in that corner. Looks like I'll need to rethink that location as well.

Mark if your using a new wiper setup , the stainless tubing will still be one longer section that you need to cut, so you will be able to move it further then i did.

Thank you Walt.

I spoke with Richard at North Racecars and I’ve got options for this.
Appreciate all the input - very helpful.

It is way back in the recesses of my old mind but somewhere on this or the other forum I remember someone put the motor over on the driver side.
