No, I didn't do this, but the guy that I bought my partially built 818C did. I didn't notice until I saw some metal at both ends of the car that didn't match the power coated frame. Then I looked at pictures of the stock frame and saw that mine has been modified. It is a really nice job, as all the work on this one seems to be. The back is pretty well incorporated into the factory frame. The front is as good as you could really do, but there isn't a lot of beefy frame to weld it to. The front picture might be a little confusing as it is on a lift so don't confuse the hydraulic cylinder with being part of the bumper! It is a good job with the ends of the square tubing being nicely capped off.
