Hello, I have a generation two that I am in the middle of the build on and I have a question regarding the supplied air conditioner unit. I tried to contact both Factory Five and Vintage Aaron I’m not having much luck with either one. My question is what are the seven different inlets outlets on the top of this condenser unit?
There are three oval and 4 round. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for that are the defrost 2 the ones that are at an angle
It seems to be very crowded there with 7 tubes
Are there any tricks to streamline the installation?

Yes the angled ones are for the front windshield defrost.
I made a collector box for the other 5 so I can run AC and heat through all vents.
From the box there is a T that goes to the center console and also the left driver vent.
From the center console vents there’s another T that goes to two vents to the foot boxes. I baffled them to create even airflow.

It has been almost 6 years since I built my Type65. I really do not remember which of the round ones go where. Your Vintage Air instructions should list them. Here is a link to my build thread. As you will see the dash is full of hoses.

Hi, The 2 angled ports are for defrost, the 3 oval are for the dashboard and console vents; the remaining front two ports supply direct heat and AC to the foot box. I applied power to the unit and engine vacuum, which verified the middle oval ports and front ports supply both hot and cold air. When defrost switch is turned on, vacuum is applied closing the flapper to the footbox vents and routed to the defrost vents.
In my application the passenger defrost vent is directly above the oval vents, so some mods were required. I fabricated 2 manifold, one for the defrost and the other for the footbox. I blanked on the center and passenger side oval vents, using the driver side for routed ducting to the center console and splitting the air with a tee. This arrangement supplies plenty of air, IMO.
