View Full Version : Side Pipe to Header Bolt?
Is there a trick to getting the driver side header to side pipe rear bolt tightened? There is literally no room. I have a coyote with the FFR headers (with cats) and side pipes.

I do that bolt with a allen wrench I cut down and socket with a swivel to snake in there. BUT I have to say I have never done it on a Coyote with Cats.

I use ARP 12 pt. bolts, stainless 3/8-16 x 2" (PS, due to flange wedge) and 1 3/4" (DS). https://www.mcmaster.com/96242A753 It has a 3/8 12pt hex size and easy(er) to get a box end wrench in, and on the others a standard 12 pt 3/8 socket. And as Bat says, a flex socket on the nut on the inside. I also use brass coupling nuts to help with the corrosion problem.
