What - an size line are you using for your hydraulic line to a standard clutch?

Ford 5.0L small block with T-5 transmission
Wilwood 1" Master Cylinder
7/8" Push Slave on the side of the transmission

I've got a -4 an line now but I'm not happy with the fittings available; -3 an fittings are a lot more plentiful and easy to come by.

I know the size will make a difference but will it be much?

Again, what size hydraulic line are you running for the clutch?

Thanks, George

I used -3 an line for my hydraulic setup, works great. Similar setup, Tilton 1" master with a 7/8" push slave. TKO 600 transmission.

Similar to this setup. I think they use -4 but mine works fine with -3

Depends on what use you have for your car. Simple street driving or high performance where quick shifts are a must to cut lap times.

The smaller the line size and ports in the M/C and slave cylinder, the slower the actuation. I suspect most won't mind or even notice how slow a juice clutch is as they primarily drive the street.

If you like to bang gears like a drag racer use a cable actuating system or mechanical linkage, an off the shelf juice clutch release system like most use can't keep pace with mechanical system for speed. The biggest advantage with the juice clutch release system is they can be easier to package than a mechanical system. If you have room for an external slave you probably have room for a cable release system.

I've used both. Based primarily on the parts combination of the build. For my purposes (99% street cruising) can't tell any difference.
