So, it arrived this week, and spare time has been spent in inventorying parts. Interestingly (to me, anyway), the later in the packing process going by box number, the less likely that the parts are to be labeled with the FFR part number.

As of last week, back windows apparently were still not being shipped with the cars.

In deference to Bob Stewart, who complained about not seeing himself on the forum yet, meet Bob:

Raise your right hand and say after me,

"I (State your name), do swear/affirm, that upon acceptance of this "Revered Coupe Jacket", will willingly subject myself to all manner of frustration and abrasion that my FFR Type 65 will provide. I further pledge that any and all fellow Coupe builders will have free reign in using the cash available in my wallet as they see fit to improve my build plan. I will not look down upon our fellow Roadster builders, but rather take pity on those not talented enough to build a race car with a roof, So Help Me God!"

It is my pleasure to present you with the "Revered Coupe Jacket", Here's your sign!!

It's always cool to see new straitjackets being issued. Congrats on the new arrival, Colonist, and good luck with your build! You will have a great time.

Thanks, Folks.

Lucky, I concede the race at the outset; I just have too much to learn during this process. And stay safe for the next two weeks, hear? We need you back here as a citizen.

Hankl, do you have any idea how hard it is to type with that jacket on? I have to admit it gets a good deal of respect, though. Went out for coffe this morning in it and everyone was so awed they wouldn't sit anywhere near me.

John, gotta admire that lobster-red Maine frame. But -- I can tell you haven't explored the entire realm of what it is possible to do with your clothes on....

At any rate, I'm ready to dive in -- just gotta find a way to get outta this jacket first.

There's a key to unlock the jacket at the bottom of one of those boxes. You've just gotta find it! :-)

From a newb-last-year, welcome!

The jacket is a learning tool, you get real good at using your teeth, learn not to "gritt" them grasshopper! :-)

Welcome to the looney bin. :-)

Bob -- it's slow, like everything else in winter. Plus my type-a wife is on a temporary lay-off right now and has more additional projects than Dunkin' has donuts. (Mmmmm -- donuts!)

As for you Maine guys, you're gonna be the same color as John's coupe frame. But let me know so I can come up and capture it for YouTube.
