Sellng my steering wheel - this exact model (https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Speedway-1940-Ford-15-Inch-Steering-Wheel,25106.html). Smooth horn button.

This fits perfectly and easily to FFR hotrod's standard ididit column. The horn plugs straight into column, no fabrication or any fiddling at all - just plug in the wire, and tighten the nut.

I've driven my go-kart about 500 yards with this - so it's pretty new :D

The cheapest I've ever seen this was $170, most are $240 ish, so I'll take $110 plus shipping.

Here you can see it on my car, before I removed it:

Do you happen to know the diameter of the standard wheel FFR supplies? Why did you decide not to run it? Looks cool.

I may be interested, just stuck at work for a few more weeks so I can't measure the one on my truck kit right now. Thanks

I don't know the standard one, but FFR's website has 14" wheels shown in the store (http://www.factoryfiveparts.com/interior-accessories/?sort=featured&page=1).

I loved the vintage look too, and it works great with the column, but I've kinda changed my mind and going for more racecar vibe and ordered a flat-bottomed racing suede wheel - a complete 180! For a more period vibe, this wheel works well.

Gotcha. Sorry for all the questions. I'm building more of a era look hotrod truck and think that wheel would be perfect. Never even knew such a thing was out there. The originals look right but are too big and the aluminum one FFR sent looks way out of place.

How did the 15" wheel feel with leg room and such? Guessing the hot rod and pickup are pretty similar in that regard. Might be worth buying from you just to try it out. I'm in Canada but have a US bank account and PO Box for times like these.

Yeah, I don't know how the truck compares legroom wise, but I haven't noticed a legroom issue for me (6ft) in hotrod. I can measure it to the floor if that helps - but I believe you have way more room than we have!

Let me know if more pics/measurements will help..

lol, mine isn't even a roller yet. A measurement really won't mean much to me at this point. Let me see if I can get the wife to run out and measure the steering wheel I have and Ill get back to you. Thanks for the replies.

-edit: I just looked on the FFR website and the kit comes with a 14" wheel. I doubt 1" larger diameter will make it undrivable.

Just got my wheel in the mail. Looks to be all in order.

Hope it isn't a "bad choice" and "sucks". Caveate Emptor I suppose. Guess I should have done a bit more research.

Thanks anyway.
