A/C question - no donor parts

I want to add A/C to my build. I bought it partially built, and it has no A/C components. I have the excellent information from AZPete. Since I don't have the factory Subaru compressor, do I buy one of those, or will a Vintage Air unit work? Any other "factory" components that I would need, or can I get everything I need from Vintage Air (I have to order a bunch of stuff for the A/C from them anyways). One thing that comes to mind is the compressor mount, which I know nothing about; is that a specific factory item I will need?

You can use Vintage air for all but the compressor.
You can use an electric A/C compressor. I do not know of an aftermarket Subaru A/C compressor kit. Best to get Subaru A/C parts for engine from boneyard, IMO.
