I am new hear and have been reading posts for a couple of months and just wondering; I am 5-9 at 220 lbs, waist 42 in. Will I fit in the drivers seat? Can the corvett seats be used or are they too big. My plan is to buy one in the next 2 years if I fit.

You guys and gals rock.

Yes you will fit. I have trial fitted my seats and I fit with 6'0" and 42 inch waist.

One of these adult males will fit; one will not. PM me if you need a hint.

I'm currently in the process of saving up for a GTM. I know I can do the mechanical stuff, and maybe the body work. The biggest question I have is will I fit in the car? I'm 6'5", about 250lbs with a muscular build. I know the FAQ sheet on the factory five website says "a person of 6'3" should fit comfortably", but 2" is quite a bit in a little car and id like to get the opinions of people who actually drive them. Or what would it take to modify the car to make me fit?

largest concern comes from how close your head ends up to the rollcage.

I just went to the F5 open house and was able to sit in the yellow Gen 2 GTM that belongs to F5..My wife said that she would want me to build one next..Well after she sat in it, she did not like it at all..She is 5'9..I sat in the car and I am 6 foot and 225 muscular build..It was a tight squeeze for me..Plus I did not like that I sat so "high" in the car..My eye level was almost at the roof line..My recommendation to you would be to take a trip down to F5 and sit in the car BEFORE you put your hard earned cash down..JMO :)
