I am building a MK4 and missing the hood hinges. Would like to hear from this group on FFR vs Breeze vs others. Pros cons before I purchase. I keep looking at the Breeze set up because it looks so simple but would like to hear others experiences.

Thanks Dale

I had both, FFR all the way. Pros are the install is easy, they align easily and extra bonus of the gas struts. Cons are they don't look as "traditional" if that's your thing and they're raw steel so you'll have to paint them before final install (if you consider that a con). I was told most of the pro painters and builders on here prefer the FFR ones as well.

After having done cars with the Breeze hinge I strongly recommend the Factory Five hinges.

Thanks for the quick replies so far. I bought this kit just in the starting stages of the build. I found the shocks but no hinge parts.

Sound like I need to place an order. Hope they did not change how they mount as my kit is dated 2015

My kit was an early MK4 from 2013/2014 ish and they fit perfectly so I would think you're good.
