View Full Version : Hello from Hawaii (soon to be Texas)
Hello all, I'm Sid. The family and I are currently in Hawaii, but will be headed back to Texas in November. I'm retiring from the Army. Been looking around for my next project and tired of building all the normal stuff. I've messed around with several kits from one of the other kit car companies and wasn't very impressed at all. So hoping to check out a few cars when we get back home.

Sid - welcome and thanks for your service!
I agree with Steven - you'll likely be impressed with FFR. I watched their products improve over the years. Not to say there was anything wrong with the earlier cars - they were still head-and-shoulders above the rest of the industry. But, when I got my Mk3 kit in October 2009, I was quite impressed with things like welds, component parts, and finishes.
Best of luck with your move and enjoy the planning process - welcome to the FFR family.

Sid,
Thanks for your service to the country.
Where in Texas are you moving to? We have several FFRs here in the Austin area. Houston and Dallas have very active Cobra Clubs. The last weekend in March is the Texas Cobra Meet in San Marcos. Somewhere around 100 Cobras of all makes attend each year. Come join us.
