Hey everyone!

I just signed up for this forum and am still relatively new to all of this, so hopefully this is the right spot. I have wanted to build a kit car for some time now and the 65 Coupe has really caught my eye. I am down in Jackson MS, not sure if anyone else is around, I saw a 65 Coupe in some pictures of a car show down here a friend went to but not sure if it was a FFR, but if your out there id love to check it out. I just bought a wrecked 2017 Mustang with the 5.0 Coyote to use as a donor car for the build and stated dissembling it. I hope to be able to order my kit later this year, but wanted to start getting up to speed on dos and donts. I really want to get out to FFR after all this COVID stuff passes to sit in one and see everything, and I'd also like to do the build class. I see that there isn't a build class for the 65 Coupe, any suggestions on which one I should do to get the most relevant information for a 65 Coupe build, or if one build is closest to it? I have a ton of questions, but I'm sure most of them are meant for the 65 thread so I'll hold off on that for now.

Thanks in advance for any help, and I'm excited to be finally getting started.

Hey Neighbor. railroad in B'ham, Alabama.
Love the coupe. I have a roadster.
Hold off on buying donator parts. Read, read, read. I know it will be over whelming until you get some hands on time, but try to absorb as much as you can.
edwardb, does a good build thread. I suggest finding his coupe build thread and enjoy.
