Branch chipper/shredder

Hi all,

Looking into buying a chipper/shredder for my lot.
I’m looking at the DEK machine at Lowe’s.
It’s a 11 hp machine with a chute.
Don’t know if I’ll go electric starter or not yet.
Any comments, recommandations, equivalent machine?

Ok since you guys were so...eager to know...I bought a Ducar 15 hp machine...so good my neighbors ask to borrow it on a regular basis...good for me since they keep it full of fuel and sharpen the knives!

Nice that will do the work for you. I had a Wallenstein that was powered off my tractor’s PTO. It had no problems with up to 6” stuff. Yours looks fairly beefy. Best forum I have found for things like this is tractorybynet.com, search in the attachments section.
