Hi there,

When I signed up for the forum I was dominantly using an Ipad. Needless to say it was not very user friendly to me for uploading pictures and trying to find my way around. I decided to go with what I knew and created a new google site to house my pictures and document my progress. I am currently able to use my work computer from home and decided to post a link to my google site to share. I have greatly appreciated help and feedback from others and thought some of my pictures and my process could be useful to someone else. Please check it out.
Anyone have any suggestions for how to share this? Perhaps the best way to load it up to the forum?

Thanks all.

Thanks for sharing your build pics. I agree that the format of this forum is not always the easiest to work with, but it is the best resource available for us builders. Perhaps you could post a link each time you update your google thread. I am not sure if that violates this forum's rules or not.

I gotta' tell you...if it isn't posted directly to the site here I'm not following. I just simply can't keep clicking links to build sites hosted elsewhere. If you want the most exposure and feedback/participation from other builders I suggest that you try to find a way to duplicate your posts to this site; maybe by using the URL for photos hosted there and then doing a copy & paste of your text. Maybe I'm the minority, I don't know...

Good luck,
Jeff

Have to agree with Jeff. There have been several builds that guys linked their build threads or updates to other sites. I've tried sometimes, but basically have given up on that. If you want maximum exposure and feedback, best to keep it here IMO. I get that people struggle with pictures. I've been through the Photobucket mess, which for me is still working, but I don't post anything new there. My recently completed Gen 3 Coupe was done on this forum with the forum gallery for pictures. There's a bit of a learning curve, but not hard once you get the hang of it. All the pictures were with my iPhone and they look pretty good IMO. My Coupe build thread had over 500K views (hard to believe) and tons of feedback. FWIW.

Thank you. I think I will continue to gather photos and store them on my google site. Once I am a bit further along I can put them up to the forum. Probably soon since I have my laptop from work available now. I hope to carefully choose which to upload and post with a nice table of contents like your build page. Your blog/page has been very helpful to a first timer like myself and I would like to say thank you.

Thank you for the feedback. I will have to set up on the forum soon. Now that I have my work laptop the forum seems much more user friendly.I have learned a lot from others and would like to put it out there for others to use. I know I have learned tons by paging through the builds here...maybe someone can gleam something from my experience as well.
